Home Gym Machines Are Must Haves

Maintaining a healthy body takes a lot of time, effort, patience and discipline. There are foods that you should eat and those which you must avoid. You also need to get adequate rest and sleep, along with going to the gym every single day. The latter can be a problem if there’s no gym located near your home or work area. It takes a lot more motivation for you to get up out of bed really early to travel to a fitness center and then still get to work on time. That’s where home gym machines come into the picture.

Home gym machines can be similar to those that are found in the fitness centers, but many are specifically designed for home use. How so? They’re convenient and compact, usually fitting into smaller spaces and offer a larger range of exercises, like multigym that allow a series of workouts that in fact will target your entire body. The best thing about having your own equipment is that you can work out anytime you wish without having to worry about paying gym membership fees or a personal trainer that almost no one can afford these days. Using a video or an exercise chart, you can plan your own exercise sequences, stretches, warm-ups, muscle building, toning and aboriginal workouts. All you need is a good music, towels and water jug and you’re all set. Best of all, when you decide to buy, a really good range of Home gym machines are available for sale online. There are companies that specialize in outfitting gym facilities for home use. The few outlets that offer discounted home gym machines may provide reconditioned models, but there are deals if you have the patience to search.

Where to begin? Go to a gym or fitness center you enjoy. Try out their machines. Make a list of the styles and types of machines you most enjoy and those that give you the workouts you need to accomplish your goals. Although the exact make and model may be too expensive, if you know the kind of workout they offer, or the company name, there are often home gym versions of the PRO series lines that the gyms have, and often they’re much more affordable.

Home gym machines are must haves for anyone who is serious about their Fitness World and is pressed for time. Remember that there are compact units that can even be attached to doorways, the ones with pulley systems that offer resistance equal to lifting weights. Even if you live in a cramped apartment there are pieces of simple equipment that can help you achieve muscle building, increase abdominal strength and add to the overall tone of your body.

My Preferred Home Gym Machines: Multigym

I like a multigym unit more than other home gym machines simply because I have only one machine in my home gym studio and I can do almost all my exercises on it. I don’t have a lot of space so I had to decide: one huge multigym or a variety of small pieces of fitness equipment

These machines are smaller than a multigym but taking them all together and adding some space in between would end up making me have to knock down some walls in my house and entering in my neighbor’s area. She is a 62 year old lady so probably has nothing against a 32 year old guy exposing his own muscles in her living room, but I’m afraid I’m not a very entertaining guy, so the walls remain intact. The other aspect of a multigym is that they are usually a bit more expensive than other fitness machines, although, once again one huge multigym is cheaper than 3 or 5 or 10 machines.

The multigym I bought has three stations. I bought it on ebay, it was one of the cheapest discount home gyms I found. I paid only $600. The machine was used and one can easily tell, but everything works properly. That’s more important than the color of the seats and benches. So I’m very happy with my new purchase. I’m not sure about the manufacturer; I guess it’s something like “Titanio”.

The machine is probably more than 10 years old, so I doubt that it was produced in the U.S. I think it was imported from Mexico, and the manufacturer apparently (I was looking for it online) doesn’t exist anymore. Well, this is all for today, I just wanted to share with you my opinion about used home gym machines. An old multigym can be better than a set of brand new equipment from the best known manufacturer.
