Home Gym Machines Are Must Haves

Maintaining a healthy body takes a lot of time, effort, patience and discipline. There are foods that you should eat and those which you must avoid. You also need to get adequate rest and sleep, along with going to the gym every single day. The latter can be a problem if there’s no gym located near your home or work area. It takes a lot more motivation for you to get up out of bed really early to travel to a fitness center and then still get to work on time. That’s where home gym machines come into the picture.

Home gym machines can be similar to those that are found in the fitness centers, but many are specifically designed for home use. How so? They’re convenient and compact, usually fitting into smaller spaces and offer a larger range of exercises, like multigym that allow a series of workouts that in fact will target your entire body. The best thing about having your own equipment is that you can work out anytime you wish without having to worry about paying gym membership fees or a personal trainer that almost no one can afford these days. Using a video or an exercise chart, you can plan your own exercise sequences, stretches, warm-ups, muscle building, toning and aboriginal workouts. All you need is a good music, towels and water jug and you’re all set. Best of all, when you decide to buy, a really good range of Home gym machines are available for sale online. There are companies that specialize in outfitting gym facilities for home use. The few outlets that offer discounted home gym machines may provide reconditioned models, but there are deals if you have the patience to search.

Where to begin? Go to a gym or fitness center you enjoy. Try out their machines. Make a list of the styles and types of machines you most enjoy and those that give you the workouts you need to accomplish your goals. Although the exact make and model may be too expensive, if you know the kind of workout they offer, or the company name, there are often home gym versions of the PRO series lines that the gyms have, and often they’re much more affordable.

Home gym machines are must haves for anyone who is serious about their Fitness World and is pressed for time. Remember that there are compact units that can even be attached to doorways, the ones with pulley systems that offer resistance equal to lifting weights. Even if you live in a cramped apartment there are pieces of simple equipment that can help you achieve muscle building, increase abdominal strength and add to the overall tone of your body.

My Preferred Home Gym Machines: Multigym

I like a multigym unit more than other home gym machines simply because I have only one machine in my home gym studio and I can do almost all my exercises on it. I don’t have a lot of space so I had to decide: one huge multigym or a variety of small pieces of fitness equipment

These machines are smaller than a multigym but taking them all together and adding some space in between would end up making me have to knock down some walls in my house and entering in my neighbor’s area. She is a 62 year old lady so probably has nothing against a 32 year old guy exposing his own muscles in her living room, but I’m afraid I’m not a very entertaining guy, so the walls remain intact. The other aspect of a multigym is that they are usually a bit more expensive than other fitness machines, although, once again one huge multigym is cheaper than 3 or 5 or 10 machines.

The multigym I bought has three stations. I bought it on ebay, it was one of the cheapest discount home gyms I found. I paid only $600. The machine was used and one can easily tell, but everything works properly. That’s more important than the color of the seats and benches. So I’m very happy with my new purchase. I’m not sure about the manufacturer; I guess it’s something like “Titanio”.

The machine is probably more than 10 years old, so I doubt that it was produced in the U.S. I think it was imported from Mexico, and the manufacturer apparently (I was looking for it online) doesn’t exist anymore. Well, this is all for today, I just wanted to share with you my opinion about used home gym machines. An old multigym can be better than a set of brand new equipment from the best known manufacturer.

Take Your Training To The Next Level With Olympic Weights

Olympic weights typically consist of a barbell and a set of weight-plates that weigh in at around 300-500 pounds. They are excellent for advanced lifters who are interested in moving on to a higher level in their weight-training, which usually involves the use of heavier weight in order to increase muscle gains. If you are at a point in your training regimen where you feel you could benefit from integrating exercises that involve heavier weight, then you could greatly benefit from the installation of a weight set within your home gym machines or workout area.

Olympic weights are great for explosive compound exercises such as the clean and jerk, squat, and deadlift. These exercises are excellent for stripping fat off your body while building up large amounts of lean muscle. In the likely event that you choose to incorporate the classic bench press into your workout routine, then the addition of an Olympic weight bench will be beneficial to you as well. These benches are designed to support large amounts of free weight in addition to your own bodyweight, so instead of worrying about the bench falling apart beneath you, you can focus on the crushing weight that is actually in your hands and how you will be lifting it.

Olympic weight plates typically weigh in at 45 pounds. By doing the math you can see that 3 weight plates on either side of the barbell will add up to a total of 270 pounds. That’s a lot of weight on your hands, and the great thing about it is that it is all compressed within a much smaller size than regular weight plates. Olympic weight is great for middle to advanced lifters who have familiarized themselves with proper form and technique, and preferably have had a few years of experience behind them. Remember to always use correct form and avoid straining or injuring yourself by lifting weight that is too heavy to manage. Good luck in your Fitness World and keep training.
